Should couples be required to prove their fertility before they receive a marriage license?

No. This isn't ';Ancient times.'; as you say ';ancient purpose.';

If couples can't be honest with each other about that, that's pretty sad.Should couples be required to prove their fertility before they receive a marriage license?
Prove it to whom? Each other? The government? Will older ppeople be exempt? Should there be a separate status for the infertile?

Nah......Should couples be required to prove their fertility before they receive a marriage license?
why? a marriage is a union of two people. The requirements of the ceremony and documents don't say a thing about procreate or fertility. If a person is only in it to produce a heir than they can write a prenupt and ask for a fertility test to back it up.
No, that is what adoption is for.
