Why do people tend to shy away from being friends with couples?

We aren't axe murderers. We aren't pedophiles. My work schedule is all night shift so it makes it hard for me to go out. Do couples tend to be loners after marriage? I don't get it.Why do people tend to shy away from being friends with couples?
No but after you become a couple it's better to make friends with other couples. Single people sometimes feel left out, especially if you tend to talk mostly about and to each other which many couples do without even realizing it.Why do people tend to shy away from being friends with couples?
It could seem like they are the third wheel and it would be easier for the single person to have a partner. Like as a comfort issue. It would be more comfortable to go and hang out in pairs.
try to be friendly towards other married couples. or just friends dating. anything. :)

good luck!
They may not want to be a ';third wheel';.
